Youth Ministry

A place where everyone is welcome, no one is perfect, and all things are possible!

Welcome

Youth ministry is at the center of who Mount Olivet is and what Mount Olivet does. We believe that equipping our youth to navigate life’s possibilities and challenges with faith creates resilient young people and lifelong believers. We do this by establishing caring relationships with adult staff and mentors and with other youth of all ages. Youth ministry spans grades 6th through 12th throughout the year with special programs and events for college-aged young adults. It includes a wide variety of fellowship groups, service projects, and education opportunities and partners with staff from Cathedral of the Pines and our music program to find a place for every young person to feel welcome and accepted and to discover how important faith can be.

High School

Hi-League

There is no better time or place to instill a sense of Christian purpose, and no time when our youth need more support in navigating the transition to adulthood, than in high school. For this reason, our Hi-League groups offer significant opportunities to grow socially and spiritually in a safe and supportive environment.

College Age

Hi-er League

Faith development doesn’t end with high school graduation, and neither does Mount Olivet’s care and support for our young adults. Hi-er League is a way for Mount Olivet to stay in touch with our young adults through their college years, offering opportunities to reconnect with friends both in their age group and across generations at church.
