Mount Olivet Homes' Auxiliary

The Mount Olivet Homes’ Auxiliary (MOHA) was organized by Pastor Reuben K. Youngdahl, September 14, 1960, soon after Mount Olivet Home opened. Dedicated to enriching the lives of children, residents and people with developmental and other disabilities, Auxiliary members volunteer their time and demonstrate their love and support for the people served by Mount Olivet Day Services, Mount Olivet Home, Mount Careview Home and Mount Olivet Rolling Acres.

Over the years, the Mount Olivet Homes’ Auxiliary has raised funds through annual events like the Fall Fest, Spring Garage Sale, Butter Braid sales, and the Annual Gala. In addition, they operate the Mount Olivet Careview Home gift shop and throw monthly birthday parties for the residents of the home. Annually, proceeds are equally divided among the four organizations. Throughout their 50-year history, the Mount Olivet Homes’ Auxiliary has raised nearly $1 million!
