Fellowship

My Church Friends Are My Best Friends

Find your place!

Our Fellowship ministry offers our members and non-member friends a place to feel welcomed, fulfilled, and connected through a variety of large and small groups.  These groups provide an opportunity for gathering together to build relationships with others while centering on our shared faith.

Flying Solo

Flying Solo is a fellowship group for Mount Olivet singles ages 40-60. Join us for fun events like snow tubing, concerts at Lake Harriet, gatherings at Canterbury Downs, serving dinner at Simpson House and more! Watch for new events to be posted on the events page approximately every 4-6 weeks.

Motorheads

Mount Olivet Motorheads are people who love engines and the Lord.
Our mission is to enhance believing, belonging, and becoming by providing spiritual and social opportunities and by encouraging seekers to connect with Mount Olivet, so they can come to know the good news of Jesus Christ who cares about every aspect of our lives – even our love for engines! There are four Motorheads events throughout the year…

Motorheads @ Le Chateau Cache, March
Motorheads @ Mtka Drive-In, June
Motorheads Show / Blessing of Vehicles & Drivers, August
Motorheads Fall Road Tour, October

Young Adult

Early adulthood is one of the most important and challenging times in our lives. As young adults, we grow into far greater independence. We form much of our identity. We choose those with whom we’ll spend our lives. We explore various vocations. We create friendships that will last a lifetime. We commit ourselves to the causes that are most important to us.

At Mount Olivet, we believe that faith is not separate from all of this, but rather is a deeply interwoven part of it. And so we offer many and various opportunities for young adults to explore and strengthen their faith during this stage of life. Whether mentoring confirmation students, serving together throughout the community, gathering as singles or couples (or both) for meals and retreats, or exploring how faith relates to the various roles we are assuming, there is something here for all.

If you have questions about Young Adult Ministry, please contact Pastor Cieslik by email or 612.767.2248.
