Come and encounter Jesus in the Gospel of John so that “believing you may have life in his name” (John 20:31). This five-week class, led by Rev. Dr. Theresa Latini, Executive Director of Mount Olivet Conference & Retreat Center, will explore the distinct themes in John’s depiction of Jesus’ origins, his life on earth, death, and resurrection. Special attention will be given to Jesus’ relationships with Nicodemus (a religious leader), the Samaritan woman (a foreigner and outcast), Lazarus (a dead friend), Thomas (a skeptical disciple), Mary Magdalene (the first witness to the resurrection), and the unnamed Beloved Disciple.
Donation given in class.
