“Tell all the truth, but tell it slant.” These words, from a poem by Emily Dickinson, seem to describe Jesus’ favorite way of teaching: parables. Through parables and short stories, Jesus offered his listeners a glimpse into the kingdom of God. But oftentimes these parables were met with confusion. Even today, the meanings of these stories can be challenging to understand and apply to our daily lives.
Join our pastors each Wednesday evening from June 19 to August 7 as they explore some of Jesus’ parables they find most intriguing, challenging, and potentially life changing. Enjoy fellowship, great food, enjoyment of nature, and inspirational worship!
