A Day Lenten Journey: What is Lent for Lutherans?

Tue., March 12th, 201910:00am – 3:00pm

The innovations and disruptions Martin Luther brought to the medieval church included changes to Lenten season practices. How close are we – or aren’t we – to those practices today? And what difference does it make? Join Pastor Mark Dixon and guest presenter Dr. Thomas Lecaque of Grand View University as we explore these questions and more during A Day Lenten Journey. You will leave with a new “Lutheran Toolkit” for your own deeply meaningful Lenten season. Enjoy the beauty of a winter day, share warm fellowship and inspiring conversation, and indulge in a wonderful lunch!

Cost is $20 for lunch and program. Bus transportation is available for an additional $5 from West Campus (8:45am), 7500 York (8:45am) and Mpls Campus (9:15am).
