Advent is a time of expectation when we prepare our hearts and minds for the coming of Christ. In a culture where patience is on the wane and anxiety is on the rise, in a season that can deliver more stress than serenity, let’s focus on God’s gift of peace. Each week in worship we will light an Advent candle to celebrate the increasingly brighter light of Christ, inviting God to lighten our hearts through Jesus’ Counsel, Compassion, Calm, and Comfort. Each Sunday will focus on one of these godly gifts. We invite and encourage your presence in worship where we will discover and experience in the Christ child the advent of God’s peace.
