Mount Olivet (Minneapolis Campus) offers handbell choirs for all ages
and an Orff ensemble for children. Enrollment is limited.

An instrumental ensemble of xylophones, glockenspiels, metallophones, and rhythm instruments. During class time, the children, grades 4th through 6th, will learn to play the various instruments while singing, moving, playing, improvising, and composing.
Mondays: 5:20 - 5:50 p.m.
Tuesdays: 5:30 - 6 p.m.

Joy Bells is a handbell ensemble experience for 4th through 6th graders. Rhythmic and musical skills are learned and enhanced in this special instrumental group. Some previous musical knowledge is preferred but not necessary. The ensemble performs in worship services throughout the year and plays an important role in the yearly Christmas Concert.

Glory Bells is a handbell ensemble experience for 7th and 8th graders. This ensemble is a continuation of Joy Bells but also welcomes new members who have some previous instrumental experience. Rhythmic and musical skills are sharpened and enhanced in this special instrumental group. The ensemble performs in worship services throughout the year and plays an important role in the yearly Christmas Concert.
